Selah was founded by Melissa Haugen, RN, BSN, a Registered Nurse with more than 18 years of experience caring for patients, including many years in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
Her approach to aesthetics and wellness is shaped by a deep respect for individuality, thoughtful care, and the belief that the most beautiful results should still feel entirely like you. At Selah, Melissa takes a considered approach to treatment, focusing on natural, refined outcomes rather than trends or excess.
Her eye for aesthetics was developed long before Selah. Melissa spent years working as a photographer and teaching photography through online classrooms and industry conventions, an experience that sharpened her appreciation for balance, proportion, light, and the subtle details that can change the way something is seen.
Today, that artistic perspective blends seamlessly with her clinical experience. The result is an approach to aesthetic care that is precise, intentional, and guided by a refined eye for what feels balanced and beautifully understated.
